Since it’s humbled beginnings in 1996 by Malaysian shoemaker Jimmy Choo and British Vogue’s former Accessories Editor Tamara Mellon, Jimmy Choo has come to be one of the leading designer footwear houses in the world. Few brands have had such a cultural impact like the London based label has and it’s easy to see why, it caters to the masses while not wavering from its design aesthetic.
While only entering the menswear market in 2011, the brand has quickly established a loyal following and SS15 looks to be its biggest yet. For the first time, Jimmy Choo showcased at LC:M its new collection on the runway alongside the launch of its first ever mens fragrance fronted by Game Of Throne’s Kit Harington.
Although Jimmy and Tamara both have left the company, the style never has. Take their Argyle hi-top trainers for example, featured in the AW14 campaign fronted by Sean O’Pry, they are comfortable, stylish and sleek… The perfect trainer basically. But sadly they’re the closest you might ever get to the male super model.
