Normally Karl Lagerfeld has us eating out of the palm of his hand desperately trying to snap up anything with a double CC on it. But the tables have turned, Karl Lagerfeld’s latest collaboration has him in the palm of our hands, meet Barbie Lagerfeld.
The limited edition doll launching in Fall is just part of the Barbie Collector series to celebrate Barbie’s 55th birthday. Decked out in Monsieur Lagerfeld’s iconic uniform of a tailored black jacket, white shirt with a high collar, skinny black jeans and of course his signature sunglasses and fingerless gloves.
Known for his outlandish quotes just as well as his designs for labels like Fendi, Chanel and his own name brand, maybe this Barbie version of Karl Lagerfeld will be as equally chic but less outspoken as the man himself.
