The Bible Is Louis Vuitton

vuitton-memopad02The Bible, a collection of sacred texts that comforts and answers some of life’s most challenging questions, it guides people on how to live their lives in a harmonious way. I’m not saying Marc Jacobs is Jesus, but he did solve some of the issues in our lives like ‘how to wear a 2 button blazer’ and ‘what to wear under a lace dress in you are a man’, but now the iconic French house Louis Vuitton is to release its own ‘bible’ called “Louis Vuitton Fashion Photography” for us fashion people to find guidance from.

Bringing together almost 200 images by creative contributors like Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Henry Clarke, Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the book features an array of Louis Vuitton products in every form from advertising campaigns to fashion articles and editorial stories that spanning the Fifties to the present day.

Divided into three main sections – fashion articles since 1977, Louis Vuitton advertising campaigns and a flashback to the Fifties all of which has an introduction by photography writer and curator Charlotte Cotton. Featuring a white canvas cover with one of three different photographs, by Patrick Demarchelier, Craig McDean or Bert Stern, the limited-edition book is sure to be an instant sell out…

So start your pilgrimage to a Louis Vuitton store now for the October 1st release.
