Pharrell Williams ruins everything. Announced this week that he is to bring more ‘whimsy’ to fashion, Pharrell has collaborated with French leather goods company Moynat to create a capsule collection of bags all inspired by vintage steam trains.
While I don’t mind the designs (I do enjoy a train as much as Marc Jacobs), I dislike the notion of someone who in this past month has already released collaborations with high street brands G-Star Raw and Adidas teaming up the 19th century luxury trunk maker Moynat who pride themselves on craftsmanship. Where is the connection between a £10,000 bag and a pair of £120 sneakers?
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t find Pharrell stylish, fashionable or even creditable. So why does Pharrell Williams have to be in fashion?
I was surprised by this collaboration, I really was and I’m not sure it works with the brand, BUT his fragrance is great!
As long as no one touches Goyard, I’m fine with any collaboration.
Pharrell I’m okay with, it’s Kanye that I question.
Very interesting

I like Pharrell, but I’m not taken by his fashion style either. Nobody can beat Keanu Reeves in a business suit.
