Landing the converted Chanel Resort campaign, Joan Smalls poses in a variety of outfits from the Chanel SS15 against a romantic middle eastern style set shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself. Joined by Hudson Kroenig, the six year-old who closed the resort catwalk show in Dubai, Joan still manages to steal the spotlight which isn’t an easy job when you are up against not only the child of top model and Chanel muse Brad Kroenig but is also the godson of Monsieur Lagerfeld!
While this might be the first time in my life I’ve been jealous of a child’s outfit, he just can’t compare to Joan Smalls even if this isn’t the campaign that gives her the household name status of other supers like Naomi, Linda and Christy. But she is one step closer, she’s now a supermodel.
