Textual Chemistry….

If there is one thing I look forward to more than anything in Winter, it’s texture. From leathers, rubbers, and neoprenes, Winter is the season to get textural. And with the temperature in London dropping by the day, it is clearly evident that Winter is well and truly on its way!

Having lived now in London for 5 years and having losing countless items to the elements when I first I arrived, I have now learnt my lesson and adopted more appropriate pieces that not only protects me and any fragile fabrications but they also add different textures to an outfit. The key is to give your outfit a dry run before the big downpour arrives.

Combing the textures of a neoprene sweatshirt from Neil Barrett with a Stutterheim matte rubber raincoat against waxed Cheap Monday jeans and all topped off with tropic print mesh Supra Hammer trainers, I think I’ve amassed the perfect textual chemistry. But most of all, I’m ready for Winter… Are you?
