Beginning his career at the age of 18 when he was appointed Fashion Director of i-D Magazine, Edward Enninful has come along way in his short career thanks to his eye for detail. Following this with gigs at Vogue Italia in 1998, American Vogue in 2005 and ultimately becoming Fashion & Style Director of W Magazine, it is easy to see why the British Fashion Council have decided to honour him with the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator at the 2014 British Fashion Awards.
As one of the fashion industry’s most renowned stylists, Edward Enninful has worked with brands like Versace, Dior, Givenchy, Gucci, Fendi and Celine. But perhaps most celebrated for his work with regular collaborator Steven Meisel which has resulted in some of the most iconic and original content features today. And after looking at their work (which usually features half naked models), who wouldn’t want to give him an award?
