In the age of digital fashion where it feels like we are constantly being bombarded with a sea of cash cow collections and disposable designs, it can be hard to put your own stamp on the current trends. Take neoprene for example, it’s the must have, must wear, must own fabric for the last few seasons mainly thanks to the influence of designers like Neil Barrett, it has now trickled down to the streetwear market. Founded by Chris Stamp in 2011, Stampd is described as a ‘avantstreet’ lifestyle brand that represents ‘contemporary luxury that has evolved past high street-wear while retaining its iconic styling cues’ – enter neoprene.
Reinterpreting what the sweatshirt means in today’s market that is so heavily dominated by both the sportswear and streetwear markets, Stamp have mastered the art of neoprene and managed to produce something that so could have easily made me look like I was wearing an oversized wetsuit, but instead a cocoon of coolness. And any item that lets me put my stamp on the sport luxe/monochrome/neoprene/minimal trends all at once gets my stamp of approval.
Sweatshirt Stampd, jeans Cheap Monday, trainers Nike, sunglasses Calvin Klein
Love this look! Simple, classic and so wearable. Xx
Really digging this. I’m going to be posting soon regarding a new neoprene number. It’s outside of my comfort zone, so I guess I’ll see how it turns out.

Neoprene is my dream… But then I used to wear wet-suits all the time.
