With every story there is a short and long version, this is the short version. It’s officially that time of year again, the one when we begin to think about our legs who we have neglected for months banishing them from the sunlight and judging eyes. But now with summer just over the horizon, the promise land of days spent lounging around by a pool barelegged is simply just too enticing to hide our sun deprived skin for all to see. Its time to embrace shorts.
And while it’s still too early to jet off to Tuscany to bathe in the warmth, after seeing shots on Kit Lee’s (Style Slicker) social feed of a place in Hampstead that echoed the architecture and sun of Tuscany, I was utterly tempted. Simply unable to help myself from exploring and reminiscing about my adventures last Summer, I decided to check it while trying some new leather look shorts from American Apparel, even if it was still cool enough to wear a roll neck knitted top (albeit a light weight one with fantastic block colouring). But I think it makes for a casual balanced look thanks to the relaxed edginess (and shortness) of the shorts against the refined knitwear. After having a taste now all me and my shorts really need is to leg it to the real Tuscany!

I really like your outfit! It’s very fashionable 🙂
Love this look, really like how the shorts work with the jumper. Slick. Now roll on Tuscany…
