After spending an afternoon last week with the ever stylish Logan Horne, I was introduced to the world of Anya Hindmarch – specifically the new pun-packed sticker collection which he has a bit of an addiction to. Opening my eyes to the collaboration between Anya and Charlotte Stockdale of CHAOS FASHION, the duo have produced a range of playful stickers, inspired by childhood customisation and one of the most mundane and unglamorous muses, the M25. Creating fun leather stickers that feature street sign designs and slogans like Expect severe delays, What a load of Bollards and my personal favourite My way or the highway, Anya continues to redefining what luxury fashion means by injecting a sense of humour and attitude that draws on the everyday surroundings that most people would dismiss mixed with traditional luxury elements.
And it’s this attitude of not taking itself too seriously while still remaining sophisticated that has really got me excited about fashion at the moment. Taking on board this attitude to find the beauty, wit and humour in the everyday, I’ve found myself gravitating towards these lighter option like another recent purchase from Neil Barrett. While it isn’t as childlike, Neil Barrett has cheekily redesigned a pair of classic menswear trousers to feature intricate curved zips on the back pockets to add a luxurious detail that is equally as playful as it is sophisticated. So if fashion is all about attitude, it would seem the (street)signs are all signalling that it’s time to lighten up and not be so serious…

Love this and glad to see you have jumped on the Anya bandwagon. These stickers are so cute!
