I can’t count the hours I have lost obsessing over things, whether it’s a Loewe mohair sweater or a Gucci embossed tote bag, my train of thought chugs away to create dream outfits while my body waits patiently on the platform for its return to reality. And while most of these brands bare a price tag that requires consideration and credit card debit, there are brands like A.P.C, Acne and AMI that offer something just as chic and classic as the high rollers minus a price tag that will leave a sour taste in your mouth.
After already stocking up on my Acne and A.P.C for the season, it was finally time to start picking some pieces from AMI. While I normally go for the understated ‘basics’, I’m actually more obsessed with AMI’s SS16 playful pieces (particularly the sweatshirts) featuring embroideries, prints and graphics of the humblest fruit of them all, the lemon. Now how good is it when an obsession bares fruit?
