Fashion has long set about to push boundaries, highlight injustices and break down barriers that plague society. It’s this ‘rebellious’ nature that creatives like to adopt to free and expose many causes that impact all walks of life. While some of them are more substantial than others like sexual oppression, some are a little more playful like Vogues Hommes International’s latest shoot Toy Boys… Although at first glance it might just look like an excuse to get male fitness models and personal trainers Zac Avnsley and Dan Scoble half naked, it’s actually a chance to showcase the double standards of society and how we view relationships with age gaps particularly when there is a older female. Now thanks to photographer Alasdair McLellan, a toy boy has never looked so fashionable.
