Just like an animal that hibernates for Winter, I’ve literally spent the last stocking up and squirreling away clothes for the colder months. From chunky knits to full-length coats, I often find that by the time Winter comes around the Spring/Summer collections are instore and there is nothing appropriate to buy. Which is just how I needed up with this piece from J.W.Anderson. On one hot May afternoon while trolling through countless websites I discovered a super-soft fine knitted polo shirt with intricate hand-stitched detailing that set it apart from other polo shirts. I knew straight away that I just had to have it even though it was made of wool leaving it unwearable in the muggy British weather… So after 4 months of it hibernating in the back of my closet, I can finally wake it from its slumber and wear it now that the weather is starting to get cooler. Which does just make me think it doesn’t matter when a designer created something, it’s just about it being in the right place and time… And that was certainly not Summer as was intended for this design!
