Sugar Coating…

They say it’s what’s inside that really counts, but I believe one can argue that the outside is just as valuable. After all, without the right packaging how tempting can a product really be – would you eat a cupcake if it had no frosting? I didn’t think so. So whether it is for a potential job or potential date, our coating helps to sell us before we even open our mouths. Surely that proves that the outside has to be just as good as our centre. But I also believe in not sugar coating things, especially in the modern age when everything feels retouched or artificial. I can’t really think of many things more appealing than honesty. Well maybe except for a Paul Smith coat, like this burgundy style from Oki-Ni with it’s bold neon stipe and classic cut. And when your coating is this good, you don’t even have to open your mouth at all.

I agree on both accounts. It’s not only the inside that counts. I mean, seriously, can anyone truly say they’d go on a date with someone who they think look absolutely hideous, no matter how sweet the person might be…? I sure as heck wouldn’t. I also agree on the fact that with wearing a coat like that nothing much more needs to be said. I’d just sit there for two hours and stare at the coat.

The outside is as important as the inside because if you don’t find someone interesting or attractive you won’t even feel like getting to know them:)
You definitely look interesting and attractive with that amazing coat. I am obsessed with it. Have a great day.

Despite the fact that this is a coat for men, I want it!!
I believe that outside and inside are equally important.

Killer jacket man. I love the bold orange stripes! I tend to agree with you that what’s on the outside can so often be equally as important as what’s underneath! Thanks so much for sharing!
