Lost and Found…

They say you don’t know you’re lost until you’re found, I don’t believe that. You can clearly be lost and aware that you are out of the familiar – Dorothy knew it in 30 seconds and so did I. I was not in Kansas. After packing my bags full of short sleeve shirts and as many linen blends I could get my hands on, I was mentally prepared for the South of France – baking hot weather, golden fields full of long grass swaying in the breeze, noisy cicadas and bottomless bottles of wine… However, I was not prepared for sights of endless wild white horses galloping, muddy marsh lands and more importantly colourful flamingos… Who knew flamingos could be French? Never to be unprepared, I luckily had a the perfect accompanying outfit for such a unusual scene – enter Paul Smith’s underwater floral print shirt. Already feeling like a juxtaposed concept, I couldn’t help but think why not add a little more surrealism alongside a flock of pale pink flamingos for a bold eye-catching outfit that couldn’t be missed. And just like that I was found.

That’s crazy! Flamingos usually make me think more tropical than the south of France haha! But you seem to be blending in with the wildlife just beautifully!
