It’s a new year, like officially now a fresh start. It’s the first week of 2018 and amongst a sea of happy new year notes, messages and conversations from well-wishers, it’s not long before the conversations descend into interrogations of what my new year resolutions are. GOING TO THE GYM MORE, EATING BETTER, BEING ORGANISED, MAKING MORE MONEY… I know some people will be thinking these or maybe even already practicing them but I’ve decided this year that I’m not going to have any.
I’m my toughest critic. I’m the one that sets the rules and then punish myself when I don’t follow them. If you don’t make any vows or commitments then you can’t be punished when you break them. And God knows I take the same vows every year and somehow end up consuming more cheese than oxygen… So just like my Valentino tee and its vowelless logo, I’m removing any new year vows to try and make my life just a little less cluttered and stress free. Minimal characters, minimal stress! I’ve still got my list of plans and goals but I’m just not going to put the pressure on myself that I normally would. And already I feel like I’m winning at 2018.

YES TO THAT VALENTINO TEE! I was actually just looking at it in store the other day and debated getting it! You look glorious in it!
You should definitely get it as well!
