Finding The Light…

I found the light. And I think I found it just at the right time. I’m not talking about brightness, religion or epiphanies, I’m talking about weight. Fabric weights to be precise. In our society, it seems we are obsessed with weight. Anything heavy seems to be associated with negativity and problems whereas light seems to conjure up thoughts of joyous and positive feelings. Well, I can confirm that both are a good thing when it comes to fabrications. It just depends on the season – I didn’t hear anyone complaining about heavy layers during that ridiculously long Winter we just had!

But this post is about how I found the light for Spring… And what better time then the current burst of warm weather we have just had. While the days are toasty and it feels like all you need is a shirt, the mornings and evenings are still cool and require another layer, a light layer if you will. Which is how I ended up gaining a little weight this Spring with a Acne Studios Merves overshirt on my back. The perfect transeasonal jacket that not only catches the eye with its orange check hues but keeps me warm until Summer comes along and I can lose my Spring weight. Now how positive is that.
