Searching For Summer…

Looking out the window, I can see rain pouring down, a sea of umbrellas traveling along and leaves splattered across the pavements, if it wasn’t for the aircon keeping the temp at 20 degrees you wouldn’t know it’s summer here in London. After the heatwave we had last year I think everyone was ready for another 3 months of blistering hot weather, but sadly I think we will be lucky to get three days of heat this time. But maybe that’s a good thing, Summer (and all those Summer bodies) make us have a real mix of emotions – jealousy, motivation, depression or desire. It’s when we can see all our faults and flaws as we stare at our reflections while trying on swimwear that we think will be good for the gram. But that aside, London really is at its best in the sunshine, it just feels more hopefully and carefree – people are nicer when it’s not bucketing it down rain. So while I can’t find the sunshine here in London, I have found Summer – Elliot Meeden for Attitude Magazine styled by Jospeh Kocharian. All that muscle, all that sun but most importantly, all that jealousy that our Great British Summer looks nothing like this at all…
